Dr. Andrew R. Bruening, a St. Charles, MO native, has transformed his deep-rooted passion for art and science into a successful career in digital dental design. As the owner of Hilltown Dental, Dr. Andrew’s journey into the world of dentistry was inspired by his family, leading him to pursue a degree in Food Science & Nutrition/Pre-Dentistry from the University of Missouri – Columbia and later graduating with honors from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2014. His commitment to integrating advanced technology into dental practice is evident through his expertise in Computer Assisted Design (CAD) and 3D printing—fields where he has become a recognized authority. Since taking ownership of Hilltown Dental in 2015, Dr. Andrew has dedicated himself to pushing the boundaries of digital dental design, helping his peers incorporate these innovations into their practices to improve patient care and streamline workflows.

Dr. Andrew’s extensive credentials and involvement in the dental community underscore his expertise in the field. A member of Psi Omega dental fraternity, a fellow of the International Dental Implant Association, and an active participant in the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater St. Louis Dental Society (GSLDS), where he serves as President, Dr. Andrew is a leader in digital dentistry. His role as Chairman of the Council on Scientific Sessions for the Mid-Continent Dental Congress and his recognition as the 2020 Young Alumnus of the Year by the UMKC School of Dentistry Alumni Association further solidify his status as a digital design expert. Known for his ability to seamlessly integrate CAD and 3D printing into daily practice, Dr. Andrew regularly lectures and conducts hands-on workshops, guiding other dentists in adopting these technologies to elevate their own practices. Whether developing surgical guides, creating occlusal guards, or crafting complex digital models, Dr. Andrew’s innovative approach and attention to detail make him a trusted resource in the rapidly evolving world of digital dental design.
